Standard Walls

  1. Measure the entire width of your wall from one edge to the other.
  2. Measure the height of your wall, excluding any baseboards or trim.
  3. Since walls are rarely perfectly square, measure the height on both the left and right sides. Heights can often vary.
  4.  If the two heights are different, use the greater of the two measurements.

Sloped Walls

  1. Measure the width and height of your wall as you would for a standard wall, ignoring any slopes. No need to revisit high school geometry to calculate angles!
  2. To ensure the most accurate results, your wallpaper will be provided as a full rectangle. Any excess can be easily trimmed away during installation.

Walls with Obstacles

  1. Measure the full width and height of your wall as you would for a standard wall, ignoring any obstacles like windows, doors, or outlets.
  2. During installation, you will trim around these obstacles, removing any excess material.

Measuring Tips

  • For the most accurate measurements, use a good metal measuring tape that is long enough to measure the entire wall.
  • You know how the old saying goes – measure twice, cut once! The same rule applies when measuring for your wallpaper or mural. We can’t stress enough the importance of double-checking your measurements.
